Therapy is Human.

Life is full of challenges, transitions, and unexpected turns that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward. Therapy provides a safe, supportive space to explore these experiences, gain clarity, and develop the tools needed to navigate life’s complexities. Whether you’re here to manage anxiety, depression, or trauma, to navigate relationship challenges or life changes, to explore questions of identity and purpose or simply to better understand yourself, you’re in the right place.

Services & Rates

The initial assessment is a comprehensive intake designed to help me understand your unique needs and experiences. During this session, we’ll review your current symptoms, explore how they may be affecting your daily life, and discuss your strengths and areas of challenge. This session is also a chance for you to share your goals for therapy, ask questions, and begin to build a collaborative relationship. The insights we gather during the intake will guide us in creating a personalized treatment plan to support your healing and growth.

Initial Assessment

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy sessions are tailored to your unique needs and focus on addressing the goals we’ve identified together. During our time, we may work on developing coping skills, processing difficult emotions, identifying patterns in your relationships or behaviors, and building self-awareness. Our sessions might include techniques from evidence-based approaches such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or mindfulness practices.

Individual Supervision

Weekly supervision sessions are a collaborative space to explore clinical cases, ethical considerations, and practice challenges, with an intentional focus on social justice, culturally competent care, and cultural humility. Together, we’ll examine the complexities of working with diverse populations, emphasizing the importance of understanding systems of oppression, privilege, and the ways they intersect with clinical practice.
In addition to deepening your clinical skills, we’ll discuss the integration of evidence-based practices, professional boundaries, self-care, and strategies for creating meaningful change within your practice and the broader community.

What does Private Pay mean? Can I use my Insurance?

  • Private pay means that you are paying for sessions directly rather than going through insurance. This allows for greater flexibility, privacy and fully personalized care without the restrictions of insurance plans.

  • Out-of-network (OON) benefits allow you to see a therapist who isn’t contracted with your insurance while still receiving partial reimbursement.

If you are considering using your OON benefits, I have partnered with Mentaya, which on average, helps clients recoup 50-65% of their upfront cost:

    Here's how it works:

    1. Sign up for Mentaya: https://mentaya.co/inviteclient/U6vLv0v8iA5U4DfPTIoK

    2. Our practice will enter your sessions into the platform.

    3. Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.

    4. You get reimbursed by insurance!

It's risk-free: They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of their fees.

  • If our partner for OON benefits (Mentaya) is not for you, I am happy to provide superbills. These are comprehensive documents that you submit to insurance for reimbursement. They include my name, license, CPT codes, ICD codes, amounts charged and amounts paid for partial reimbursement.
